The house is a little over 100 sqm with a big stone-paved terrace facing the south. The ground floor of the house has a kitchen with Tuscan features and a fireplace, sitting room and a WC. On the second floor there are the bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. This small villa in Tuscany sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a matrimonial bed and the other has twin beds, that can easily be turned into a matriminial bed also. There is a possibiliy of an extra bunk-bed to accomodate one more guest.

Casa Casciani is a charming 2 bedroom holiday cottage for rent near Lucca in the heart of the Tuscany countryside. Situated close to the little village of Celle dei Puccini, Pescaglia, a gateway to "La Garfagnana" and within easy reach of Lucca, Florence and Pisa.
The charming rustic house for rent has been lovingly restored maintaining its original Tuscan features. It is situated in a south facing hillside and has easy access.
The terrace in front of the house is accessible from both the kitchen and the living room. There is a roofed "portico" for outdoor eating and a portable barbecue. To cool off in the summer heat there is an outdoor shower with cold water.
Most vacation renters typically rent the house as a base for exploring the mountain area and the culture around the north part of Tuscany. The guests are predominantly 2 couples of all ages or families with 2 grown children.
Bathroom towels are supplied and both linen and towels are changed on a weekly bases. We will also arrange final cleaning of the house for extra fee. The owners, who live nearby in Lucca, are fluent English speaking and at your service for directions, translation, restaurant tips and to help organize day trips. If you arrive late we can organize that the refridgerator is not totally empty upon arrival. We want our guests to have a great holiday experience when they rent our small villa in Tuscany.
This house in Tuscany for rent is equipped with all basic kitchen utensils and equipment. In the living room there is a TV and DVD/CD player. For the hot summer months there are fans in both rooms and a portible air-conditioner and a dehumidifier. For the cold winter months one simply turns on the heating system in the cottage. On those cold nights the kitchen is the place to sit in with the fire blazing in the old Tuscan fireplace.
